Cutting edge styles and eye-catching designs took to the catwalk in Southampton as students unveiled the future of fashion in their annual show.
Celebrating links with the fashion and maritime industries the Southampton Solent University graduate show brought spectacular outfits to the city cruise terminal where hundreds of people gathered to watch the lastest students show off their artistic talents.
Mainly inspired by the industrial revolution, the show featured outfits of all styles from glamorous growns to more daring designs using dark tones and striking features.
The Solent fashion programme this year also saw collections from students which showed their business awareness as well as their willingness to experiment with ideas.
Watching the show University Chancellor Lord Alan West said he was impressed by the student's ideas and creativity. "It attracted a lot of attention from top London fashion designers" he said.
